![]() ![]() TranslateIt Deluxe Widget for Mac will be useful for users needing a quick resource for translating individual words from one language to another, such as from English to Spanish, German, Russian, or French. However, it couldn't really translate any complex phrases or any sentences. The program accurately translated some basic words such as love, woman, cat, dog, clock, etc., used for testing from English to other languages. However, when the application functioned properly, the output was correct. At times, the application seemed to fail to load the appropriate dictionary, randomly resulting in no translated output. To translate a word, type the word into the text box and then click the TI icon to translate it. ![]() Users add dictionaries by clicking the information icon located on the bottom right of the widget. The application is basic and the interface reflects that. TranslateIt Deluxe Widget for Mac unzips and installs to the user's dashboard, where it functions as a useable widget that may be positioned according to the user's preference. The widget doesn't come with any dictionaries but the user can download all they need from the developer's Web site. Making three different forms of Google Search easily accessible from the Home Screen is convenient, but placing Google Lens within the Widget might be enough to earn it a place on every iPhone.TranslateIt Deluxe Widget for Mac's clean interface makes translating words from English, German, French, Spanish, and Russian fast and easy, although it stumbled with blocks of text. Incognito search is similar, but search history is not saved. ![]() Tapping the text box opens Google Search full screen and the keyboard appears, ready to accept keywords. After a brief pause to check that speech has stopped, the search is performed and results appear in a full screen list. Tapping Voice Search allows a search to begin simply by speaking one or more words. The most impressive and complex of these is Google Lens. Showing a text box and three buttons, makes it a shortcut to launching Google Search, Lens, Voice Search and Incognito Search. In contrast, the larger widget takes up an entire row of space, but it is worth it. The smaller version behaves exactly like the app icon and adds no value.
